our story

Ric's Cottesloe living room with a comfortable brown sofa, travertine coffee table with curated books and flowers, two framed artworks on wall, chandelier, curtains, and armchair.

Drawing from holidays spent abroad and a deep appreciation for proportion, materiality, and mood, Ric’s captures old charm with contemporary grace.

Rooted in intention rather than trend, the space favours mood over motif — a space designed to feel subdued, grounding, and quietly restorative. Microcement walls, handmade zellige tiles, and custom-forged bronze hardware bring warmth and texture to every surface, while sculptural lighting by Barovier & Toso and Audoux Minet offers moments of gentle refinement. Furnishings blend antique European forms with contemporary Australian pieces, reflecting interior designer White Studio & Co’s thoughtful approach: a layered, lived-in elegance brought to life with clarity and ease.
