Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to all bookings with Ric’s Cottesloe and you.
Please read these Terms carefully prior to booking. By booking directly with us, you agree that you have read and agreed to comply with these terms and conditions.
These terms may be updated at any time and will be posted on our website.
Fees
a) The entirety of the fees for your stay must be paid at the time of booking.
b) Payment must be made via bank transfer or any other method of payment as notified to you.
c) A deposit of $200.00 AUD will be held and returned after the stay upon an inspection that no items have been damaged or missing.
Cancellations
The following applies to all cancellations inclusive of any Covid19 related situations. We highly recommend that you take out your own travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
a) For cancellations made with notice of 30 days’ or more, a refund will be issued minus a cancellation fee of 30% of your booking will apply.
b) For cancellations less than 30 days there will be no refunds issued and 100% of funds will be forfeited.
Refunds
a) We do not offer refunds for no-shows, change of mind, or if you or any Guest does not stay at Ric’s Cottesloe for the entire stay period.
Checking in and out
a) Check-in time is 3:00pm WST.
b) Check-out time is 10:00am WST.
c) We may allow, at our sole discretion, allow for earlier check-in and later check-out times.
d) Guests must leave Ric’s Cottesloe in a clean and tidy state. If the property is not in a clean and tidy state upon departure, we may charge you an additional cleaning fee at our sole discretion.
Guests and visitors
a) The maximum number of guests is five and this number must not be exceeded at any time during your stay.
b) The full names of guests must be provided at the time of booking.
c) Visitors are not permitted to Ric’s Cottesloe, unless our prior written consent has been obtained (which may be withheld in our absolute discretion). It is the responsibility of guests to ensure that any approved visitors comply with these terms and conditions.
d) No parties or functions of any kind (including, but not limited to, hens’ nights and bachelor parties) are permitted at Ric’s Cottesloe, unless our prior written consent has been obtained (which may be withheld in our absolute discretion).
e) No smoking in or around the property.
No pets
No pets are allowed at Ric’s Cottesloe at any time.
Your stay
a)Ric’s contains items, interiors and decors from the owners personal collection, with a full catalogue photographed of each item. For breakages or missing items, a full replacement fee will be charged.
b) Guests must not rearrange any furniture or fixtures on the property.
c) Guests must not remove any furniture or other chattels from the property upon departure. If any such items are missing after departure, we may charge you a reasonable fee for the replacement of said items, which have been catalogued.
d) The apartment is accessible via a lift, which has a few stairs up to it from the ground floor, and a few stairs down from the car park and as such isn’t suitable for those with access or mobility issues.
e) A key is provided for the waste area, which is outside in the carpark (and rear). Please dispose of waste properly in designated bins. Recycling bins are also provided. All waste must be removed at the end of your stay.
f) On-site parking is available for one vehicle per booking. Guests must register their vehicle details upon arrival to avoid any parking issues.
g) Any damage to the carpets (food and drink are not to be consumed in the bedrooms), will be charged accordingly.
h) A $25 replacement fee will be charged per key for any lost keys.
i) Cleaning: For stays over 10 nights, a complimentary clean and linen change is included. For stays over 14 nights, a fortnightly clean and linen change is included.
The Property
a) No climbing the balconies, or accessing the apartment any other way except for the stairs and lift.
b) As we are on a coastal location, seasonally, we may experience heightened winds and salt residue on the outside balconies.
c) The property is managed by the owners and for emergencies or urgent issues, they can be contacted. 24/7.
d) Respect Quiet Hours: Guests are requested to maintain noise levels to a minimum between 10 PM and 7 AM.
e) Respect Neighbours: Guests must be considerate of neighbours and common areas.
